ASSIGNMENT:

World Issues is a course which is based very much upon the current events of the world. Important sources of information are the daily newspapers, weekly magazines and, more recently, their Internet versions. The purpose of this assignment is to have you become involved in the search for current information.

Choose one Geopolitical issue from the following list and search through the Internet news sources (I have some of them on my News page) for stories/information that will help you understand some of the recent events in that situation.

Here is the list of possible areas of Geopolitical issues:
