Reiki

First Degree

First Degree Reiki doesn't take long to achieve. Most courses consist of 1, 8 hour day or 2, 4 hour days. During this time you'll receive teachings on the origins of Reiki; how you can use it to improve your health and that of others; use of reiki towards world situations and the proper hand positions needed to heal. You'll receive 4 'attunements' during this/these class(es). Attunements 'open' the energy within your body and prepares it for use with Reiki.

Second Degree

In Second Degree, you receive 2 more attunements and also receive 3 symbols for your use with your Reiki treatments to help improve them.

Advanced

You receive 2 more attunements with Advanced Reiki. Your Reiki will be much 'stronger', some say up to 4x more then a First Degree student, and the energy will be that of a higher frequency or 'more pure'. You also receive the Reiki 'Master' Symbol, it's meaning and use will be explained then. The greatest self improvements will happen at this time.

Master

You usually only attain this level if you intend to teach. At this level you'll be taught how to give 'attunements' to others.
