Before we ask that question, perhaps some basic definitions to get things in order and
the proper use of the terms:
Paganism - This is a term to describe any Non Pre-Judeo Christian religion. . . that includes
Wicca, Druidism, Shamanism, Islam not to mention MANY MANY others.
Wicca - Is a Pagan religion, as stated above. It's a religion based around the belief of the
Goddess. The Goddess also has a male aspect(God). It's also a very flexible religion. Where you don't
have to follow strict rules and guidelines, unlike others. Which is probably why it's been attracting great
growth in the past little while.
Wiccan - This basically, is a person who practices Wicca.
Witch - This is a person who performs magick. Some say that Witchcraft is a religion all it's own
with it's own nuances, some say it's just a system of magick. Technically, both are correct. A Witch can
be Wiccan. . . and a Wiccan can be a Witch. There is only a connection if you want there to be one.
That is a very basic overview of the terms used.
