What is your 'theory' on what happens after we die? Is it based around your religion, or your own set of personal beliefs?

Response:I'm still working this out, but so far: when our physical body dies, wears out, our souls go back to the Creator/Deity. There, we share what we have learned within the lives that we have just lead. We can stay in Diety for as long as we like, and we can leave whenever we want to. I believe that whatever we did on earth (or where ever we were) is left behind us with the physical body. We retain and share our experiences, but we carry no 'guilt' on with us into the Universe. If one Soul is born into a body with a malfunctioning brain, and this body goes on to kill many, then this malfunction is left with the deceased physical body when it dies. The body and Soul are both in torment during such a life (there are positive life experiences, and there are negative life experiences), but when it's over, the soul is set free, and all the wordly guilt, morality, and consequences are left to die with the body. This does NOT mean that the body isn't guilty and undeserving of punishment in this realm, because it is. When our bodily vehicle dies, we go flying back to where we all came from. From there, we can go on into other states of being (not just physical as we humans know it). I think that we as Souls bond and keep friendships and aquintances throughout time, Universe everlasting. In this physical life, we sometimes recognize each other on a 'Soul to Soul level', perhaps saying 'hi' for now, but saving the catching up for later when we meet again. This is what I bellieve, and am expanding on it as I grow as a Soul. I came to this beleif through my own experiences and meditations, ponderings. It may change commpletely later, or it may just keep on evolving into something I cherish even more. We have all been together befor, and we will all meet up again. For this, I am very happy.

Response:Having been raised a Christian, I used to believe in the whole heaven/hell thing. Now, however, I have come to believe in recarnation and that we live this life, learn our lessons, with which we go into the next life...living and learning until we "graduate" into the hereafter, whatever you want to call it; the Summerlands, Heaven, whatever. I hate to let go of the hell thing because of monsters of humanity like Hitler, Stalin, the various serial killers...but karma will catch them up, I suppose, so...

My current belief is based on personal experiences, previous beliefs were based on my religious (Catholic) upbringing. Since I learned to think for myself, I have restructured my life strategies and beliefs. I believe we are a physical body expressing the experiential desires/needs of the essence or soul that makes each of us who we are. When this physical body is no longer required by the Soul, it is discarded and dealt with in the manner dictated by the current society in which it lived (burial/cremation/fed to wild animals/placed in trees - whatever). I believe that at point of death the Spirit knows it is time to leave and, depending on its understanding of what occurs after death, it will pass to that perception of understanding. That means, for some, they will experience 'Heaven' as they have learned it to be - angels, harps etc; for others they may pass into 'The Light' and accept the 'nothingness' of no physical body; still others will fight the death and choose to remain on the physical plane as discarnate entities trying to finish some part of their physical lives etc. I believe that the Soul knows it should pass forward through its most recent physical experience and move on into the Light of Source or more simply, return to the source of its creation. To me, this Source is the place of unconditional love and perfect peace - the place described as 'the peace which passeth all understanding'. This peace cannot be reached by taking one's own life in desperation or to remove the difficulty/ pain of a physical situation. Some years ago, during the birth of my first child, there was an emergency situation and I was clinically dead for some minutes - in that time I clearly recall moving into the most wonderful peace, a peace that I would do anything to return to and speaking with a number of bright beings. Me being me, I demanded to talk to the being in charge as I got tired of telling them why I had to come back - they complied and after an indepth discussion I was shown my future if I returned and my future if I stayed in that peaceful place. I recall that to my mind I had only one choice - to return and care for my son because I knew, in that time/space continuum, that his father would not be capable of what the child would need. I was given a charge if I returned, that charge has gone on to become part of my lifes' work, but it took another 16 years before the message/charge I was given came clear to me. It was not until my son became suicidal that the message was recalled to my consciousness. Some years later I was informed by spirit, through a variety of sources, that the task I was charged with a that time had been completed and I was now free to choose the next course of my life. It was also explained that we are able to alter the course of our lives and future lives by the way we choose to react to our current situations, that we can coalesce future 'karmic consequences' into our current lives by carrying through with 'right living' and 'right action' at every given moment in time. This caused me to reassess my beliefs about life after death. I 'talk' to the dead, so I know there is existence with out a physical body. I understand from these 'talks' that each has their own belief from life in the physical, and that belief affects what they experience 'on the other side'. Depending on our Souls' choice, we may reincarnate sooner than others or not at all. Life is about experience, and by returning the the collective soul energy that constitutes Source of All, there is really no need to become an individual to experience what others experience. We become an individual to experience what it is like to be separate from the collective energy of peace, acceptance and unconditional love as well as to 'help' other Souls and Soul groups to develop to potential experiential possibilities. Life goes on in many and varied forms ...

Response:I believe in reincarnation. We continue to come back until we learn all we are to learn in this realm. I also believe the older the soul/spirit, the more you understand and the stronger your senses become. When the spirit is ready to move to the next existence, I believe there are choices to make. Stay in the spirit world and become a guide, help other spirits on their journey, or move on to the next realm. Some call it the pearly gates, I like to believe it is the doorway to the next state of existence. From there..... who knows? This is my own set of personal beliefs.

Response:My theory on what happens after we die? well I belive in the summerlands...I believe that we all go to this magnificent place where we meet up with people from our past be they human or other, and go over what we achieved or diddn't,weather we disgraced ourselves or just to look back and have a good laugh. Then were reborn and we start the cycle all over again. This theory is based around my religion, and how i was raised.
