Bath Tub Meditation

Speaking of meditation in the bath tub, you CAN do something similar in the shower. I love to sit down in the shower, and sit where the water is hitting me basically in the forehead (and this isn't as unpleasant as it may initially sound). I lean my head back and let the water blow past my ears, to where all I hear is the 'woosh' of the water (by now, I'm usually resting my elbows on my knees and have my hands lightly covering my face). The water stops sounding like water at all, but it also doesn't sound like a blank kind of 'white noise'. The sound takes on a life of it's own. It's a 'full' sound. There have been many times where this has been the only way I could get the world to recede, and to find some peace inside myself. It's wonderful and refreshing.......and it does wonders for one's skin!
