Stress & Worry Relieving Meditation

While meditation in itself is a great stress reliever and allows you to relax to your bodies fullest, it's also good to know a meditation that is directed specifically towards relaxing and reducing stress. As targeting this specific thing can have extra benefits, or work a little quicker then just a general meditation aimed at nothing.

First, get relaxed by doing whatever method you want. Any pre-meditation relaxer. Progressive muscle relaxation I find works the best for a quick and easy relaxed state.

Next, when you're sufficiently relaxed visualize yourself standing infront of a bottomless well. Then you're going to give everything you worry or stress about a picture. If you're stressed out about co-workers, visual them as a computer. Take that computer and toss it into that Bottomless Well you're standing infront of. If you worry about money, picture that money and throw it deep into that well.

Keep repeating this with as many worries or stresses as you can possibily think of. That well is bottomless, so you'll never fill it up.

When you have tossed your last worry/stress into the well, you want to visualize a steel lid closing on that well, and visualize a HUGE lock locking all your worries, all your stress into that well forever.

At this point, you should feel absolutely relaxed and comforted.
