Spell Mechanics

How Do Spells Work?

Spells are made up of two things.

1. Energy
and
2. Giving that energy a goal/intent

You provide energy to the spell by raising it. Raising can be done many, MANY ways. You could dance, chant, sing, meditate. . . etc. You 'could' use your own energy, but it's not advisable, since you have a limited amount. It's best to 'borrow' the energy from the environment around you. That being the air, plants, the moon, stars. . . anything. There's plenty of it.

When you have sufficient energy raised for your spell, the amount is completely up to you or can be spell specific, you'll want to give that energy a specific purpose for being. You do this by imprinting a visualization upon the energy. For example say you want better luck in your job hunt, you'd imprint the image of you successfully getting the job that you want, visualize it like it's real like you've already got it. That's called "giving the energy a goal/intent"

Without BOTH of those, no spell you ever do will work. If you don't put energy into it. . there's nothing to send out to do what you want. And if you don't give that energy a purpose, then it's just going to sit there twiddling its energetic fingers. LOL

So there you have it. . . the mechanics of a spell.
