1969-71

I left METU in 1971 after the third semester and
transferred to MIT in the USA.

Completed BS in Chemical Engineering from MIT.
Then I went on to Montreal Canada for graduate
studies in Islamic Studies i.e. M.A./Ph.D. program.

Returned to Pakistan in early 1980. After having
worked in Lahore and Karachi for 2 years moved
to Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Returned to Pakistan
(to Islamabad) in summer of 1995.

Got Married to Ayesha in Feb. 1980. We have four
children as follows:

1. Amina (17) who is in her Intermediate final year.
2. Muhammad (14) who is in 10th grade (O Levels).
3. Khadija (11) who is in her 6th grade. and
4. Sara (8) who is in her 3rd grade.

Although we live in Islamabad I spend a lot of time
in Karachi for work. My office contact no.

Fareed Bhai: We should have a way to edit these
profiles. The data keeps on changing. This is a
