SKATEBOARD PARKS

From a Longboarder's View

ONTARIO CANADA

OAKVILLE

Off Lakeshore RD in Shell Park

It's my favorite park, there is lots of stuff to ride but it's jammed into a small space. There is always lots of people there so cruising around the park is like an obstacle course.

BARRIE

At the intersection of Park ST and High ST (Parking available on Toronto ST)

Lots and lots of banks, ramps and fun boxes. This park is a lot of fun to ride, things are spaced out well. The coping on the quarter pipe is nasty though. The rounded/angled bank is great. BONUS* Bikes are not allowed in this park!

KITCHNER

Coming soon - I am just to lazy right now to put it up.

GEORGETOWN

On HWY 7 (Guelph ST) across from the Mall, beside the cop shop at the arena.

A small park with small things to ride. Pyramid, flat bank, curbs and a small (tight transition) bowl. Everything is placed to close together and very little concrete around the park.

BRAMPTON

Sigh :-( Wait, a new park as been built!!! It is alittle better, more soon!

Two quarter pipes, spine and flat bank. The transitions are horrible, they almost reach vert in 6'. The flat bank can be fun but is only 8' wide. Way to many BMXers for any bodies liking.
