"Fermoy"
Fermoy was my first horse. He was about 19 in this photo. I rode him and leased him from when I was about 14. I wasn't able to buy him till I was out working. I kept him till he was in his 30's. As I was working at the farm I was able to retire him and keep another horse that I could ride and show.
"Shades of Bay"
(Rip off)
I first saw Rip Off was a foal when I was going to school in Waterloo. She belonged to my landlord who had racehorses. He never did race her and eventually sold her to a gal who then sent her on consignment to the farm where my friend worked. I bought her and found out when I got her papers who she was. Her registered TB name was "Rip Off Runner" It is Rip Off in the picture border at the side. This was at the Oakville Horse Show in the Low Hunter Division.
"Southwind"
(Sarah)
Sarah was a wonderful mare. She would jump anything and we showed and hunted and in general had fun. She had been an event horse and was great over the solid type of fences but unfortunatly tended to crash the less solid huter type fences.
