| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
As per our telephone conversation of March 5, 1999, 1 wish to advise you that the above-cited case has been assigned to me for handling. |
| As you may
be aware, section 33 of the Human Rights Code obligates
the Commission to investigate a complaint and it may endeavour to effect a settlement thereof. |
| Accordingly,
in addition to our telephone conversation of March 5,
1999 and those that will follow, I would ask that you gather all documents you have in your possession regarding your employment and the terms of that employment with the Ministry of Environment. If you would bring these with you to our first scheduled meeting, we could review them to ensure the Commission has copies of all relevant documents. |
| In addition,
would you kindly identify any witnesses that may be able
to speak to the allegations raised, such as other individuals employed under conditions/contracts similar to yours, officers that may have relevant information, etc? |
| Thank you
for your assistance and I look forward to hearing from
you. |
| Yours sincerely, |
