There will be a number of ways to earn marks in this course. Besides the exam and tests, a variety of assignments, activities and an independent study will give you many opportunities for evaluating your work.

Exam - 30%

ISU - 20%

Tests - 10%

Assignments - 25%

Participation - 15%
(ie. Discussions, signing in etc)

All your tests and your exam will be given at the school. Most other evaluation activities you will submit to me online via E-mail or other means. I should remind you of a few of the school's policies regarding missed tests and late assignments.

If you miss a test without a note (or without a reasonable/acceptable excuse) you will receive a zero grade for that test. Every attempt will be made to make up any missed test (with legitimate excuse). Please inform me ahead of time if you know you will be absent from a test, so we can arrange another time for you to write it.

Late assignments are penalized 10% per school day up to 50%. PLEASE submit assignments on time. Most students do not realize how much they lose by submitting late assignments.
