Photos of original Brunswick Drums. Most of the Drums used in the Brunswick Army were brass drums. Only a few wooden shell drums were shipped to North America. We can not say what drums were used with the diferent Brunswick units. Please note that the last two photos show a drum which also had hoops made from brass. This was very rare. Most drums used a brass shell and woooden hoops like the top photo. The painted design of the hoops was probably different with every unit.
