M.D. Degree Certificate or Evidence of degree standing or other registrable qualification - Residency training in Canada - Certificate in Family Medicine or Specialist Certificates

Evaluation Exam - Qualifying Exam Part I - Qualifying Exam Part II.
What are the residency/immigration requirements?
You must be able to submit evidence of legal entitlement to live and work in Canada. Landed Immigrants, Convention Refugees and Canadian citizens may apply.
What are the language requirements?
There is no language requirement.

What else do I need?
A certificate of good standing from the area in which you have practiced within the past year - A letter to the College confirming a position, the location and dates of work in Price Edward Island - Application form - CV of professional appointments - recent photo - birth certificate or other evidence of date of birth
What are the steps I need to take?
Write the exams - Complete
Canadian residency - Obtain certificate in Family Medicine or a Specialty
- Find a position
as a physician in Prince Edward Island and have them write you a letter
of confirmation (it must be a hospital appointment.) - Forward the letter
and your credentials for a review by the College (they will inform you
if you qualify for licensure) - Obtain the application package from Prince
Edward Island - Gather your documents and certificates - Submit your application,
documents and registration fee
