Evaluation Exam - International Medical Graduate Exam (only 72 people pass) - Objective Structure Exam . Oral (only 24 people pass) - Qualifying Exam Part 1 - Qualifying Exam Part 2

What are the residency/immigration requirements?

You must be able to submit evidence of legal entitlement to live and work in Canada. Landed Immigrants, Convention Refugees and Canadian citizens may apply.

What are the language requirements?

Score of 580 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and a score of 50 on the Test of Spoken English (TSE).

How much does it all cost?

International Medical Graduate Exam,

Pre-residency program (9 months) $1400
Qualifying Exam Part I $ 650
Qualifying Exam Part II $1000
TOEFL $ 110 US

Write Evaluation Exam - Gather all your documents and certificates - Apply to the International Medical Graduate Program - Write International Medical Graduate Exam - Complete Objective Structure Exam - Apply for Pre-residency program - Obtain Authorizing Postgraduate Training Certificate - Apply for residency positions in either Family Medicine or other Specialty - Write Qualifying Exam Part 1 - Write Qualifying Exam Part 2
