What qualifications do I need?
M.D. Degree Certificate - 2 or more years of postgraduate training - Certificate of Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
What exams do I need to write?
Evaluating Exam - Qualifying Exam Part 1 - Qualifying Exam Part 2 - TOEFL - TSE
What are the residency/immigration requirements?
You must be able to submit evidence of legal entitlement to live and work in Canada. Landed Immigrants, Convention Refugees and Canadian citizens may apply.
What are the language requirements?
A score of 237 by computer-based test, and a score of no less than 50 in the Test of Spoken English.

What else do I need?
You must provide written evidence that you have been sponsored for employment by one of the health boards - You must have practiced primary care without significant interruption (6 months to 1 year) - Complete application form
What are the steps I need to take?
Write the exams - Submit your CV for review - If you are eligible, they will send you an application -
Find a position as a physician
in Newfoundland and have them write a letter of confirmation - Gather all
your documents and certificates - Submit your application, documents and
registration fee

What qualifications do I need?
M.D. Degree Certificate - Minimum of one year of postgraduate training
What exams do I need to write?
Evaluation Exam (score of 60% in medicine, surgery, psychiatry, pediatrics, and Ob/Gyn and a score of 50% in preventive medicine and community medicine), OR Qualifying Exam Part I (You must not have taken and failed either the Qualifying Part I or Part II more than once)
If given a provisional license, you have three years to complete the Qualifying Exam Part I and Part II, TOEFL / TSE.

Countries treated differently (Category 2)
If you have a medical degree from the USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia or South Africa OR you have completed one year of postgraduate basic clinical training in Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia or South Africa you do not need to write the Evaluating Exam or the Qualifying Exam Part 1 to qualify for a provisional license.

write a letter of confirmation - Gather all your documents and certificates
- Submit your application, documents and registration fee
NOTE: If you have been out
of practice for more than one year, you may be eligible to participate
in a one year training program offered in Newfoundland. By submitting your
CV for review, you will be notified if you qualify for this program.
