Review:One of the more obscure Chet Baker dates, this LP (which has since been reissued on CD in the OJC series) finds the trumpeter and a quintet that includes Herbie Mann on tenor and flute and pianist Bill Evans backing a young singer on his debut session. Johnny Pace, although he sounds fine on these superior standards, seems to have since disappeared and this is probably his only recording in a jazz setting. It's worth picking up. -- Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
