Review:This CD brings back one of his lesser-known bands, the quintet with tenor-saxophonist Phil Urso and pianist Bobby Timmons. Urso's cool tenor blended in perfectly with Baker's relaxed trumpet while Timmons's funky piano (which in three years would make him famous with Art Blakey and Cannonball Adderley) inspired the soloists. The fresh repertoire heard on this consistently enjoyable set contains many songs begging to be revived. -- Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
